History of Mehr Center

Mehr Tabriz Limited and Outpatient Eye Surgery Center began its activities in 1992. Until 2003, the center provided its services in a 6-story building with an area of ​​1,255 square meters on North Taleghani Street in Tabriz.

In 2018, the Ministry of Health received approval in principle to construct a new building for the center in Khavaran Health City. After the final approval of the plans in 2019, the project to build the largest outpatient eye surgery center in the northwest of the country began with the participation of 65 specialized and subspecialized physicians on a land area of ​​3,300 square meters.

In the winter of 2019, the new building with a usable area of ​​10,000 square meters on 7 floors, including two basement floors, a ground floor, and four upper floors, was put into operation. This center, with 27 beds, 12 operating rooms, a LASIK department, imaging units (OCT, biometry, etc.), and a modern and scientific design, officially began its activities in its new location on February 15, 1402, by performing the first cataract surgery.
