This procedure is performed under anesthesia and requires additional examinations and tests. Also, after ordering the lens, there will usually be a period of time waiting for the lens to be prepared and supplied, and the cost of the procedure is higher than with conventional laser procedures. If all the conditions are favorable, the results of this procedure are no different from eyeglass removal procedures.<\/p>\r\n<h3>Intracorneal Ring<\/h3>\r\n<p>In patients with keratoconus, laser surgery and removal of eyeglass marks are not possible, but better vision can be achieved by placing a ring in the part of the cornea where the severity of keratoconus is greatest in that area, reducing the eye mark.
